What We Train For

Heading

Heading horses are developed to show controlled, confident box work, score strong and straight, track clean and forward, and finish each run with a smooth, correct face and consistent handle.

Heeling

Heeling horses are developed to maintain a calm, patient presence in the box, hold correct position and timing through the run, rate and stop with control, and deliver the heel shot with confidence and consistency.

Box Work & Scoring

Every horse learns to stand quiet, leave straight, and stay mentally collected — the foundation of a dependable rope horse.

Tracking & Cattle Work

Horses are worked on live cattle to build timing, rate, and natural cow sense.
